Funded by the Bonita Springs Community Foundation, the ECHO Edible Schoolyard project is a joint community initiative  promoting agricultural education through experiential gardening at Bonita Springs Middle School. This garden will give students many opportunities to learn about edible plants, fruit, trees and shrubs. They may even be able to incorporate the produce into their diet by augmenting snacks or meals in their lunchroom. Many organizations in the community are joining together to make this project a reality.

ECHO  (www.echonet.org) is committed to using innovative options to help those that help the poor overseas, especially in the areas of agriculture and appropriate technologies. ECHO is proud to be able to share it's expertise with local organizations for the benefit of local communities as well. ECHO networks with organizations in 180 countries sharing agricultural techniques and hard-to-find seeds for nutritious food crops.
